Jasmine R. Harris, 19, of Mobile, Remembered After Tragic Interstate 10 Crash in Baldwin County, Alabama
Jasmine R. Harris, a 19-year-old from Mobile, lost life in a tragic roadway incident on Interstate 10 in Baldwin County, Alabama.
Authorities reported the incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Sunday, approximately one mile west of Loxley.
Officials from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency confirmed that Harris had been a passenger in a vehicle involved in an earlier collision and was standing on the roadway when another vehicle struck them.
A GMC Sierra pickup truck hit Harris and then collided with a Mitsubishi Mirage connected to the initial crash.
Emergency responders pronounced Harris dead at the scene.
Investigators continue to examine the sequence of events, and officials have not announced any charges at this time.
The sudden loss has deeply affected the community, with many expressing grief and support online.
