The late Sherita D. Tall, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away on May 19th. Sherita, known for her kind and tender-hearted nature, faced multiple health battles, ultimately leading to liver failure. Her passing has left a profound void in the hearts of her family and community.
Michael and Angela Straughter, her parents, are organizing a fundraiser to cover the costs of Sherita’s funeral and memorial services. Despite having managed the initial expenses, they are seeking $3,500 to cover the remaining costs for a respectful burial, memorial service, and related repass expenses. The fundraiser also aims to support the legal expenses required to assume custodial responsibility for Sherita’s teenage son, who wishes to stay with his grandparents.
The funeral service for Sherita will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Thrash Funeral Chapel, 150 Bellaire Blvd, Lewisville, TX 75067. Michael and Angela express their heartfelt gratitude for the thoughts, prayers, and emotional support they have received during this difficult time.
