Carla Obuck Obituary: Auburn Bay Community Leader And Association President Remembered In Calgary, AB
The Auburn Bay community in Calgary, AB, is mourning Carla Obuck, a longtime community leader and President of the Auburn Bay Community Association.
Carla helped shape Auburn Bay as one of the founding members of the Community Association and as a dedicated volunteer with the Resident’s Association.
Carla played a key role in traditions such as the Stampede Breakfast, the Parade of Lights, and the Community Gardens.
Residents and fellow volunteers remember Carla as caring, welcoming, thoughtful, and deeply committed to helping neighbors feel valued and included.
Family, friends, and community members may honor Carla’s life on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at A&W Auburn Bay.
At the family’s request, $2 from every combo sold, including third-party app orders, will go to the Auburn Bay Community Association, and cash donations during the event will be matched.
Carla leaves behind spouse Darrel and two children, Alexandrea, also known as Alex, and Matthew.
