Azariah Jones, 18, Dies After Single-Vehicle Crash Near North 84th Street And West Hampton Avenue In Milwaukee
Azariah Jones, 18, died after a single-vehicle crash Thursday night, May 7, 2026, on Milwaukee’s north side.
The Milwaukee Police Department said the crash happened at about 9:40 p.m. near North 84th Street and West Hampton Avenue.
Investigators said Jones drove southbound along the 4700 block of North 84th Street when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Emergency responders took Jones to a nearby hospital for treatment, and medical personnel worked to save Jones before Jones later died from injuries sustained in the collision.
Officials have not released what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway, and investigators continue to review speed, driver condition, roadway conditions, and other possible factors.
Milwaukee police continue to investigate the crash, and details about memorial services and funeral arrangements will be announced later by family members.
