Diana Guajardo, identified as Jose’s mother, created a fundraiser on May 8, 2026, to help cover funeral and memorial service expenses.
The fundraiser had raised $1,850 of a $2,600 goal through 14 donations.
Family shared that Jose was a sibling to D’Anne, Zoey, Sebastián Chapa, and Margarita Romo, and an uncle to A’mirah, A’niyah Diaz, and Adelina Medina.
Loved ones hope to lay Jose to rest next to Jose Chapa, and they said memorial service details, an obituary, and funeral information will be announced later by the family.
