The late Solomon "Sol" Ulibarri was from Denver, Colorado. The community and his family are mourning his sudden loss and are struggling to prepare a meaningful tribute in his honor. Sol was a beloved father, friend, uncle, brother, brother-in-law, and son. He was known for his kindness, dedication to his family, and his many talents in biking, horticulture, art, music, and cooking. Moreover, Sol was a neighborhood activist who passionately worked to help the people in his cherished Valverde neighborhood where he grew up.
On Tuesday, May 28th, Sol was tragically taken from us in a biking accident. The loss of his enormous, giving heart is deeply felt, and his memory will forever remain with those who knew him.
Adriana Lopez has organized a GoFundMe campaign on behalf of Evon Lopez to raise funds for Sol’s funeral and memorial. The goal is to collect $30,000, but as of now, only $250 has been raised through two donations. The community’s support is being sought to provide a fitting tribute to Sol and to help his family during this difficult time.
Any contributions to the GoFundMe campaign are greatly appreciated to honor Sol’s life and legacy. Funeral details will be posted on the fundraising page as soon as they are available. Your kindness and generosity are invaluable to the Ulibarri family during this period of grief.
