The late Linda Toole, from Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away on May 22, 2024. Her family is struggling to cover the costs of her funeral and burial, as they had just buried her sister Ruth on May 5, 2024. This has been an especially challenging time for them, compounded by financial difficulties.
Linda Toole’s granddaughter, Megan Toole, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to raise $5,000 for the funeral expenses. So far, they have raised $140 through three donations: $20 from Johnny Fletcher, $20 from Pammie Parker, and $100 from Natasha Smith. Megan expressed her family’s dire situation in the fundraiser description, highlighting that Linda had a life insurance policy, but it had not matured to cover the expenses due to her passing within a year of obtaining it.
Megan shared, "My grandmother Linda Toole passed away today, May 22, 2024, just a short week and a half after her sister Ruth passed away. They lived together and were very close. With the two passing so close, my family is struggling to come up with the funds for our grandmother because we just buried Aunt Ruth."
Charles L. Thompson, another family member, also shared his grief on Facebook, mentioning, "This is my mother; we lost her yesterday. Any and all help is appreciated. You can even donate directly to the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, MO, in her name, Linda Toole. Thank you, everyone, and God bless."
The family is reaching out to the community for support during this difficult time. Linda leaves behind a son, a daughter, five grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Despite the heartache, the family is trying to honor her memory and give her a proper farewell.
