The late Cael Ryan Penney, a 17-year-old from Mesa, Arizona, tragically lost his life in a dirt bike accident on Saturday night. He fought for his life in critical condition but passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 7:27 AM.
Cael was loved by many and is survived by his father, Jim, his mother, Abby, and his three older siblings. He was a free-spirited young man with a passion for dirt-biking and snowboarding. Known for his ability to light up a room and make people laugh, Cael was described as brave, happy, funny, sweet, and thoughtful by those who knew him. His passing doing what he loved has brought some peace to his grieving family.
Alyssa Penney, organizing a fundraiser for Cael’s family, shared, "During this difficult time, we appreciate any thoughts, prayers, and donations if you are able. Thank you for all of the kind words and support." The donations will go towards funeral and medical expenses. As of today, $115 has been raised out of the $20,000 goal, with contributions from Sladen Flores, Dominik Winks, and Cierra Ramos.
Eddie Joy, a friend, posted on Facebook, "May this beautiful soul rest in peace, I love you brother, we will all miss you dearly and in our hearts you will always be Cael. Anything helps, please donate to help out with his family who is going through this tough time."
