The late Cody Hoberg, a beloved member of the truck and racing community, tragically passed away over the weekend in an accident. His death has left his family, friends, and the truck world devastated. Cody had been involved in racing at National Trails since he was little and was a cherished figure in the community.
Brandie Huffman, along with Melissa Nichols, has organized a raffle to be held at Nolan’s truck show on Saturday. All proceeds from the raffle will go to Cody Hoberg’s family to assist with funeral expenses. Brandie described Cody as "a great kid" whose loss is deeply felt by all who knew him. She encouraged the community to participate in the raffle, highlighting the prizes, including a $400 gift card to Lock, Stock & Barrel Tattoos and donations from Trails West and other supporters.
The fundraiser for Cody’s family has already raised $1,170 of the $10,000 goal, with donations from 26 contributors. Camryon Lines, who started the fundraiser, described Cody as one of the most funny and loving people, with a heart of gold who had done so much for his friends and family. Camryon expressed gratitude for everyone keeping Cody’s family in their prayers and urged for any possible support to help with funeral costs.
Community members have expressed their condolences and support. Cindy Disbennett shared information about the Mill Dam Annual Truck/Jeep Show, where more support efforts are taking place. Julia A Smith, another community member, posted, “I’m so sorry to hear this.. many prayers for his family.”
Cody Hoberg’s passing has brought to light the strength and unity of the community as they rally together to support his grieving family during this difficult time.
