Terrance Wayne "Tjayy" Jourdain Jr., Beloved Family Member and Cherished Community Figure, Passes Away Peacefully at 35 in Cass Lake, MN
Terrance Wayne "Tjayy" Jourdain Jr. passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 35, leaving family, friends, and the Cass Lake community deeply saddened.
Known for his warmth, generosity, and devotion to loved ones, Terrance's presence brightened the lives of all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother Maureen Moose; father Terrance "Terry" Jourdain, Sr.; children Jordan Jourdain, Terra Morgan-Jourdain, Jayden Jourdain, Tayliana Jourdain, and Merrick Matthew Jourdain; siblings Thomas Jackson, Sheela Jourdain, Whitney Roberts, James "Jimmy" Jourdain, Deja'Rae Staples, Cierra Jourdain, Taryn Jourdain, and Nindaanis Waybenais; grandparents Patricia and Gilbert Moose, Chuck Barrett, and Debbie Barrett; great-grandparents Lucille Auginash, David Morgan, Sr., and Josephine Morgan; uncles Merrick and Quentin Moose; and great-aunts Kerry and Karin Morgan.
A wake was held on April 28, 2026, at the David Morgan Center in Bena, followed by a funeral service on April 29 at the David Morgan Community Center.
