Five Amarillo Pickleball Club Members Identified After Cessna 421C Crash Near Wimberley In Hays County On May 2, 2026
Authorities identified Seren Wilson, Brooke Skypala, Stacy Hedrick, Glen Appling, and Hayden Dillard as the five people who died after a twin-engine Cessna 421C went down near Wimberley, Texas.
The crash happened at about 11:00 p.m. Thursday along the 200 block of Round Rock Road, northwest of Wimberley in Hays County.
Officials said the aircraft departed Amarillo about two hours earlier and was headed to New Braunfels National Airport as the group traveled to a pickleball tournament near Austin.
The Hays County Sheriff’s Office received the first 911 call at about 11:03 p.m., and responders arrived around 11:17 p.m.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board continue to review weather conditions, mechanical issues, and flight data.
The Amarillo Pickleball Club confirmed the loss, and family members will announce obituary, funeral, and memorial service details at a later time.
