Rebecca Parisian, Beloved Mother and Friend, Passes Away After Long Battle with Breast Cancer
Rebecca Parisian, a devoted mother and cherished friend, passed away on March 29th after a courageous and prolonged fight with breast cancer.
Known affectionately as Auntie and Mousey to those close to her, Rebecca’s life was defined by her love for her daughter, Riley. Despite her battle with illness, Rebecca’s primary concern remained Riley’s future and well-being. She meticulously planned for Riley’s care, ensuring that her daughter would be loved and supported by Julie Myers, a long-time friend who will now serve as Riley’s legal guardian.
Rebecca’s legacy will live on through the support of her community, as a fundraising effort has been launched to secure Riley’s care, education, and stability. Funds will be used to ensure Riley’s future is as bright as Rebecca had envisioned for her.
A memorial gathering is planned for the summer at Oval Beach, near Lake Michigan, a place where Rebecca always found peace.
As family, friends, and community members come together to remember Rebecca, they are united in the mission of supporting Riley and ensuring the love and care that Rebecca so deeply wanted for her daughter will continue.
