Anna Esme DeVault, Beloved Resident of Brooklin, ME, Passes Away at the Age of 26
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Esme DeVault, a cherished member of the Brooklin, Maine community, who died on March 17, 2026, at the age of 26.
Anna’s life was filled with kindness, warmth, and a deep love for those around them. Their untimely passing has left family, friends, and all who knew them heartbroken.
Survived by their parents, James and Elizabeth DeVault of Easton, PA, and siblings Michael, Colin, and Shawn, Anna also leaves behind nieces and nephews, including Luke, Sammy, and Evie, who will carry their memory forward. Anna was predeceased by grandparents Nancy Cruickshank, Esme DeVault, and Spencer DeVault.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Blue Hill Heritage Trust or the Friend Memorial Library in Brooklin.
As friends and family reflect on Anna’s life, many express their sorrow and gratitude for having known such a compassionate and loving individual.
