Nathan Payne, 42, Remembered After Fatal Van Crash Near Grapevine Cemetery In Madisonville On Wednesday
Nathan Payne, 42, of Madisonville, passed away on Wednesday after a van left Grapevine Road and struck a tree near Grapevine Cemetery.
Payne was driving eastbound between the 2500 and 2600 blocks of Grapevine Road when the vehicle went off the roadway and entered the cemetery grounds.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, where they found Payne as the sole occupant and pronounced Payne deceased there.
The Hopkins County Coroner’s Office later confirmed the official identification, and the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office continues to review what led to the crash.
Family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and the Madisonville community are mourning a sudden loss that has deeply affected many who knew Payne.
