Flight Nurse Jamie Novick Remembered for Dedicated Emergency Care, Community Service, and Devotion to Family
Jamie Novick, a flight nurse and former emergency department nurse, has died after a plane crash while serving the community in the line of duty.
The fundraiser created today, Sunday, 17 May 2026, by DeTessa Fowler, says Jamie spent five years in emergency department nursing before moving into flight care.
Loved ones remembered Jamie for compassion, strength, quick thinking, and steady dedication to patients, coworkers, friends, and family.
Jamie leaves behind spouse Ryan and two children, Lena and Josh, as the family prepares for difficult days ahead.
The memorial fund had raised $6,950 toward an $8,000 goal through 43 donations to help with funeral costs, household needs, and future care for Lena and Josh.
