Berks County, Pennsylvania, mourns Police Officer Kristen Yeager, who died after a motor vehicle crash while responding to assist a neighboring agency in Earl Township on May 29, 2026.
Officer Yeager served with the Central Berks Regional Police Department for approximately two and a half years and earned respect through steady service, professionalism, and care for the community.
Authorities reported that the crash happened shortly before 8:00 p.m. near West Philadelphia Avenue and Manatawny Road after the patrol vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Emergency responders took Officer Yeager to a nearby hospital, where medical personnel provided treatment before Yeager later died from sustained injuries.
