Edwin Barber, Savannah Barber, And Shad Cole Remembered After Fatal Domestic-Related Incident In Jacksonville’s Normandy Estates On May 29, 2026
Jacksonville authorities responded around 3:50 a.m. on May 29, 2026, to a home on Exodus Way in Normandy Estates after a domestic-related argument ended in the loss of three lives.
Officers found 49-year-old Edwin Barber badly hurt, and medical staff later pronounced Edwin Barber deceased at a nearby hospital.
Police also found 27-year-old Savannah Barber and 37-year-old Shad Cole nearby, and officials pronounced both deceased at the scene.
Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office detectives processed the area, collected evidence, and spoke with witnesses as they worked to confirm the events inside the home.
Authorities arrested 30-year-old Austin Fisher in connection with the case, and officials said there was no ongoing threat to the public.
