Dylan Mock, 23, Remembered After Fatal Workplace Incident at Savannah Staplcotn Facility on Seaboard Coastline Drive
Dylan Mock, a 23-year-old worker in Savannah, died earlier this week during a Tuesday afternoon shift at the Staplcotn facility on Seaboard Coastline Drive.
Authorities said Dylan became pinned beneath a forklift during operations, and emergency crews pronounced Dylan dead at the scene after rapid rescue efforts.
The May 28, 2026 report said Dylan graduated from Effingham County High School and worked at the facility for several years.
Friends, coworkers, and former classmates remembered Dylan as steady, respectful, kind, and deeply committed to daily responsibilities.
Chad Mock, Dylan’s brother, said the family continues to wait for clear answers while the Occupational Safety and Health Administration leads the review with help from local officials.
