Ufuk Yasan, 49, Remembered As Dedicated Diesel Mechanic And Family Provider After Passing During Forklift Repair
Ufuk Yasan passed away at age 49 while repairing a forklift at a shop, according to a fundraiser created on May 27, 2026, by Nicolas Limanov of Parsippany, NJ.
Ufuk worked as a dedicated diesel mechanic and recently started a business after years of helping drivers and companies keep trucks, trailers, and cars moving.
Friends described Ufuk as generous, kind, hardworking, and ready to help others, even after working 50 to 60 hours a week.
Ufuk immigrated from Turkey to build a better life and leaves behind a spouse and a two-year-old child.
The memorial fund reported $830 raised toward a $16K goal through 15 donations to help with funeral costs and travel for burial in Turkey.
