Cole Gaylord and Kyle Inferrara Tragically Lose Their Lives in Head-On Collision on State Route 350 in Moores Hill, IN, Leaving Community in Mourning

Cole Gaylord, 27, and Kyle Inferrara, 38, tragically passed away early Friday morning in a devastating head-on collision on State Route 350 in Moores Hill, Indiana.

The crash occurred just before 6:30 a.m., when Cole Gaylord, traveling westbound in a Hyundai Elantra, attempted to pass an empty school bus in a no-passing zone and collided with a Chevy Trax driven by Kyle Inferrara, who was heading eastbound.

Emergency responders arrived to find both vehicles heavily damaged, and sadly, both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputy Craig Elliot of the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation, assisted by the Indiana State Police crash reconstruction team, while State Route 350 remained closed for approximately three hours as authorities cleared the wreckage and collected evidence.

The sudden loss has left the Moores Hill community grieving deeply. Friends and neighbors expressed their sorrow online, with one commenter writing, "My heart goes out to the families of Cole and Kyle. This is such a heartbreaking tragedy."
