Tiffany Lynne Nabors, a beloved 32-year-old from Robertsdale, Alabama, passed away on May 21, 2024. Tiffany, who had special needs, endured numerous medical challenges throughout her life, including multiple brain surgeries and various other operations. Despite these hardships, she was known for her sweet personality and her ability to spread joy to everyone she met.
Earlier this year, Tiffany began experiencing complications with her esophagus, leading to frequent medical procedures. In February, she started having her esophagus stretched every two weeks due to its enlargement, and she was placed on a liquid diet. On April 16, 2024, complications from these procedures necessitated her hospitalization the following day. During her stay, she underwent gallbladder removal surgery and had a G-Tube inserted into her stomach and a J-Tube into her small intestine. Unfortunately, after her G-Tube was replaced on April 24th, she developed a large abscess in her abdomen, requiring another surgery on May 1st.
Despite the doctors’ best efforts, Tiffany’s condition worsened, and on May 14th, her family was informed that nothing more could be done as her body had become septic. She was brought home on May 18th under hospice care, and she tragically passed away three days later.
Tiffany’s family is now facing the financial burden of her memorial service without the aid of life insurance, as her health conditions prevented her from being covered. Cathy Nabors, Tiffany’s mother, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to raise $6,000 to cover these expenses. As of today, they have raised $250 through three donations.
The Nabors family is grateful for any support during this difficult time, whether through donations or prayers, and appreciates the community’s efforts to share their story.
