The late Teagan Frazier was from Fort Lauderdale. His family and the community are deeply affected by his sudden and tragic death. Teagan, also known as Pancake, was a student at Dillard 6-12 and was looking forward to his sophomore year. His parents, Denise Frazier and her family, are now facing the heartbreaking task of preparing his farewell.
Denise Frazier has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help with the funeral expenses. So far, $295 has been raised out of the $10,000 goal, with six donations. Denise explained the situation on the fundraising page, stating, "It’s with heavy hearts to announce the passing of our son Teagan Frazier also known as Pancake. Tuesday night he gained his wings and went to his heavenly home. His death was a sudden tragic accident that we never as his parents saw coming. So at this time, we are asking for help from all that loved and knew him, so we can lay our baby to rest."
The community has started to rally around the Frazier family. Donations have been made by Cheryl Bonime ($100), Dave Peters ($100), Beatrice Honore ($50), David Boeckel ($5), and an anonymous donor ($20).
Imani Dantzler, a former teacher of Teagan, shared on Facebook, "Please donate to my former student’s family." This reflects the strong community support and the impact Teagan had on those around him.
The fundraising efforts highlight the need for collective support during such difficult times, showing how a community comes together to support a grieving family.
