The late Jean Anderson, affectionately known as Momma Jean, passed away on May 16, 2024. Her daughter, Katheryn Anderson, is organizing a GoFundMe campaign to support Momma Jean’s celebration of life. Katheryn, along with her siblings, is deeply mourning their mother, who left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
Jean Anderson was renowned for her unwavering support and love. As Katheryn shared, "Anyone that knows Momma Jean knows if she said I’m here for you, SHE WAS." Momma Jean was a beacon of light and love, always ready to offer a hug or a piece of advice to help others through their storms. Her love extended beyond her immediate family to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Katheryn recalls her mother’s wish for a joyous celebration of her life rather than a somber mourning. "She said celebration is what I want, I want everyone to celebrate and celebrate for me and my life and love for all who knew me," Katheryn wrote. Despite their profound grief, the family is honoring Momma Jean’s wishes by planning a celebration that reflects her vibrant spirit.
To support this celebration and cover the final expenses, Katheryn Anderson has set a fundraising goal of $9,000. As of now, they are seeking the community’s assistance through donations or prayers. Cherri Will also encouraged people on Facebook to share the GoFundMe link, saying, "Please share GoFundMe."
Momma Jean’s departure has left a significant void in the lives of her family and friends. Her legacy of love, support, and unwavering faith continues to inspire those who knew her. The Anderson family appreciates any contributions to help honor Momma Jean’s memory and ensure her final wishes are fulfilled.
