The late Jonathan Norton tragically left this earth on June 6th, 2024. Jonathan, a resident of Ardmore, Oklahoma, is survived by his wife, two children, and a precious granddaughter. The community, led by Brady Hunt, has rallied to support his family during this difficult time.
Brady Hunt, who has known the Norton family for many years, is organizing a fundraiser to help cover funeral expenses. "I have coached Jon for many years," Hunt shared on Facebook. The GoFundMe campaign, "Support for Jonathan Norton’s Family," has a goal of raising $8,000, with $40 already donated within the first few minutes of its creation.
Leesa Willis expressed her gratitude on behalf of the Norton family, thanking Brady Hunt for his efforts. "On behalf of the family, thank you so much, Brady Hunt! Jonathan Norton Jr., Terra Dawn Norton, Abigail Norton, and Marely," Willis wrote.
Jonathan Norton Jr. and his sister Abigail are still young, having recently graduated from high school. Hunt’s initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on them and ensure that Jonathan Norton is given a proper farewell.
The community’s support highlights the importance of coming together in times of grief, demonstrating the collective strength and compassion that helps families navigate through their darkest hours.
