The late Corvette (Sha) Moody was from Williamston, North Carolina. Her sudden passing has left her family and community in deep sorrow. Corvette leaves behind two children who were the center of her world.
Corvette’s family is now facing the significant financial burden of arranging her funeral and providing for her children’s future. A GoFundMe campaign organized by Oshulette Gardner on behalf of Elbert Duggins aims to raise $200,000. So far, $175 has been raised from two donations. The funds will be used to cover funeral expenses and establish a college fund for her children, ensuring they can pursue their dreams and aspirations.
Tabrika La’Shae’ remembered Corvette fondly on Facebook, sharing, "She gonna fuss at them games & be ready to leave soon as its over. She was gonna have you laughing & say she hungry all in the same breath. Weekends at work won’t be the same without seeing your face & walking right fast. Extra hugs for her kids."
Tijuan Lee-Floyd also shared memories of Corvette, saying, "Baby she used to fuss Trey out from the sidelines and I be like leave him alone. She would say won’t be wasting my time in this heat….she definitely will be missed by all who met her."
The fundraiser and the heartfelt messages from her friends and family reflect the community’s desire to honor Corvette’s memory and support her children during this difficult time.
