On Sunday, May 24, 2026, Omar Abdellatif of Columbus, OH, organized a fundraiser titled “Honoring Yosri with Ongoing Charity” to support lasting charitable work in Yosri’s memory.
The fundraiser has raised $965 toward a $10,000 goal through 18 donations, with proceeds planned for mosque repairs and essential community facilities across the United States and Egypt.
Supporters described the effort as Ṣadaqah Jāriyah, an ongoing charity meant to bring continued benefit through prayer, worship, and daily community use.
