Since early March, Nicholas had remained hospitalized while receiving intensive 24-hour care, as family members stayed close and hoped for recovery.
A memorial fundraiser organized by Theresa Robert from Schenectady, New York, was created on May 18, 2026, in the United States on behalf of Nicholas’ family in Guyana.
The fundraiser reported $1,956 raised toward a $55,000 USD goal through 18 donations, with support intended for funeral costs and unpaid medical care costs.
Family members described Nicholas as deeply loved and remembered the joy, laughter, and light shared during a brief but meaningful life.
