Jose R Baca, Fondly Known as Ricky, Passes Away After Health Struggles in Phoenix, AZ
Jose R Baca, affectionately known as Ricky, passed away on March 25th, surrounded by loved ones. Ricky had been battling several health issues, with his most recent struggle being recovery from open-heart surgery. After his heart stopped briefly and was resuscitated, his family hoped for a miracle, but sadly, it was not meant to be.
Ricky had made it clear to those closest to him that he was not in favor of life support. In respect of his wishes, his sister made the heart-wrenching decision to end the support, allowing him to pass peacefully and be with the Lord.
Ricky had always planned ahead, hoping to ease the financial burden on his family after his passing. Unfortunately, his arrangements did not cover the full cost of his funeral, and his family has come together to raise the necessary funds. A prayer service will be held in his honor, followed by a procession to St. Frances Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest beside his Tata Alex Garza and uncle Ralph. A celebration of his life will follow, bringing together all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are grateful for the outpouring of support during this difficult time, with many expressing their condolences. Tammy Yearago, the organizer of a GoFundMe campaign, thanked everyone who has donated and shared kind words. Ricky’s family continues to mourn his loss but finds comfort in the love and memories he leaves behind.
