Jay Blythman Remembered as a Kind and Compassionate Soul After Death, as Community Rallies Around Family in Seaford, VIC

Jay Blythman has died, leaving family, friends, and supporters in deep mourning as loved ones remember a kind, compassionate, and deeply empathetic person.

A fundraiser shared by family friend Melanie Allan said Jay died yesterday after a long struggle with mental health, and described Jay as someone who always tried to help others and loved deeply.

The campaign was created to support Jay’s mother, Annette, a single parent who now faces funeral costs, mortgage repayments, and everyday expenses while taking time to grieve her only son.

In the tribute, Melanie wrote that Jay was a “wonderful, kind, compassionate and empathetic soul,” a message that reflected the heartbreak felt by those closest to the family.

The fundraiser has also drawn community support, with donations offering practical help and a sign of how strongly Jay was valued and remembered.

Memorial service details have not yet been announced, and the family is expected to share obituary and funeral information at a later time.
