John “Jack” Fields of Whitemarsh Township, Pennsylvania, has passed away after a life marked by steady community service and professional commitment.
Fields began with Spring Mill Fire Company as a Junior Firefighter and served for 38 years, later becoming Deputy Chief and serving on the Board of Directors.
Colleagues remembered Fields as a mentor, leader, and dependable presence who guided younger members with discipline, teamwork, courage, and compassion.
Fields also served Whitemarsh Township Public Works, beginning as a mechanic and later becoming Director of Public Works.
