James Bond, 52, Remembered After Passing During Saturday Morning Metro Route 46 Bus Incident In Cincinnati
James Bond, a 52-year-old Cincinnati resident, passed away on Saturday morning during a Metro Route 46 bus trip near the Cincinnati Zoo.
The incident happened shortly after 5:30 a.m. in the Avondale neighborhood near Erkenbrecher Avenue and Dury Avenue.
Cincinnati officers, paramedics, and fire crews responded to the bus, where James Bond was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A second adult later received care near Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center for injuries described as not life-threatening.
Metro officials said the driver and other passengers were physically unharmed, and the agency continued cooperating with local authorities.
By Saturday evening, Cincinnati police had taken 27-year-old Leonte Coston into custody in connection with the case, with a court appearance expected Monday.
Memorial service details and funeral arrangements will be announced later by family members.
