Chais Jonathan Anthony, 26, passed away unexpectedly after being found at home on Tuesday, according to a memorial fundraiser created on May 17, 2026.
Chais was born on June 5, 1999, and family members described Chais as deeply loved by parent Azia Burnett, sibling Ivy Anthony, close friends, and relatives.
The fundraiser, organized by Ivy Anthony in Wilmington, DE, had raised $780 toward a $30K goal through 14 donations.
The post also shared that water ran in the bathroom for about 6-8 hours, flooding eight rooms and leaving Azia and Ivy in a hotel while repairs continue.
Loved ones remembered Chais as gentle, kind, warm, and devoted to Marvel, anime, movies, video games, music, and collecting meaningful treasures.
The family hopes to lay Chais to rest with relatives at Gracelawn Memorial Park, with service details to be announced later.
