Jacklyn Berry Remembered After Sunday Morning Home Incident In Winthrop, Massachusetts

Jacklyn Berry, 47, of Winthrop, Massachusetts, died after a Sunday morning incident at a family residence on 26 Beacon Street.

Authorities said officers responded around 8:35 a.m. after several 911 calls reported a disturbance at the home.

First responders found Berry seriously injured, provided immediate aid, and transported Berry by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

Officials later confirmed that Berry died from the injuries sustained during the incident.

Investigators identified Sean Brewer, 58, of Winthrop, as the suspect connected to the case, and authorities said Brewer was taken into custody and charged with manslaughter.

Officials said Brewer was expected to be arraigned Tuesday in East Boston Boston Municipal Court.

Residents in the Beacon Street neighborhood described the loss as deeply painful for a normally quiet coastal community near Boston.
