Brandon Goodum, Ambitious Musician and Clothing Brand Owner, Tragically Passes Away, Leaving Family Devastated
Brandon Goodum, a talented musician and the creator of the clothing brand “Xavier Cole,” passed away suddenly, leaving his family heartbroken. His unexpected death has deeply affected those who knew him, particularly his sister, Amaya Goodum, who shared the news through a fundraising page to help bring him home for his final rest.
Brandon, known for his ambition and hard work, had recently graduated from HVAC school in December and was working tirelessly to make his dreams a reality. His selflessness was evident when he welcomed his family into his home in Texas for 13 months, helping them settle in as they started a new life.
“He was my best friend, protector, and someone our whole family depended on,” Amaya shared in the fundraising post. She emphasized how much Brandon meant to the family, and the profound loss they are now facing.
The family is raising funds to cover the costs of bringing Brandon back to Illinois for burial, as well as funeral and memorial expenses. “Any support or sharing of this page means more to our family than words can express,” Amaya added, expressing deep gratitude for the kindness shown by those contributing.
The community is mourning the loss of a bright, selfless soul whose memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. The family has yet to announce funeral details but is planning a memorial to celebrate Brandon’s life.
