Ashlea Taylor Remembered After Unexpected Passing At 37 Following Heart Complications During Ashton’s 9th Birthday Trip
Ashlea Taylor passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, one day after Ashton’s 9th birthday, following heart complications during a family trip to Great Wolf Lodge.
Ashlea was 37 and had faced a rare blood disorder, open heart surgery in 2024 for a replacement heart valve, and many serious health challenges with strength and determination.
The memorial fund organized by Lindsay Davis on Thursday, May 21, 2026, had raised $1,535 of a $5,000 goal through 19 donations to help with funeral expenses and Ashton’s daily care needs.
Ashlea’s passing leaves Brenda suddenly caring for Ashton while also managing immediate family needs during a deeply difficult time.
Loved ones described Ashlea as a devoted parent, family member, and friend who worked to give Ashton a normal and happy life despite ongoing health struggles.
