The late Zaria Cyriaque from El Monte, California, is remembered fondly by her boyfriend, Enrique Robles, and a close-knit circle of friends. Enrique has organized a GoFundMe campaign, "Celebrating Zaria’s Life: Support for Memorial Service," to raise funds for her memorial. The campaign, started today, has already raised $1,425 of its $1,500 goal from six donations.
Enrique shared that he and Zaria had been together since January 4, 2022, and had moved in together in December 2022. Zaria passed away on the morning of May 4, 2024. Born in New York City on November 10, 1995, and raised in Somerville, New Jersey, Zaria was known for her maturity, self-awareness, and hard work. After graduating from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania with a degree in Business Management, she moved to California in January 2019.
Zaria and Enrique shared a home and two dogs. Despite her estrangement from her immediate family, Zaria found family in her friends. Enrique recalls her aspirations and plans for their future, which were tragically cut short. He expressed his gratitude to friends and family who have supported him during this difficult time.
Enrique’s GoFundMe page highlights the financial and emotional challenges he faces, including the costs of the memorial service, moving expenses, and veterinary care for their dogs. The memorial service for Zaria took place on May 18, 2024, but donations are still being accepted to cover remaining expenses.
On Facebook, Enrique expressed his love and sorrow: "For Zaria Cyriaque. We love you, we miss you."
Enrique’s efforts to honor Zaria’s memory show the profound impact she had on those who knew and loved her.
