Woineshet Mulugata, born on March 15, 1965, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, peacefully passed away on June 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the cherished daughter of Getachew Terfa and Etagegn Mebrate.
In 1983, at the age of 18, Woineshet immigrated to the United States, where she resided for 41 years. During her time in America, she achieved an associate degree at Miami Dade College and built a warm and loving home with her husband, Nigussie Mulugata, whom she married on July 29, 1989.
Woineshet was a devoted housewife and a remarkable mother to her children, Samuel and Sarah Mulugata. She was known for her kindness and caring nature, touching the lives of everyone around her with love and compassion.
Her memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Woineshet Mulugata will be remembered as a loving wife, a nurturing mother, and a genuinely nice and caring woman who had a special place in her heart for everyone.
Carla Solano has organized a fundraiser to honor Woineshet’s legacy, aiming to raise $5,000. The fundraiser, titled "Honoring Woineshet: A Legacy of Love," is a testament to the impact she had on those around her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
