The late Warren Smith from Saint Martinville, Louisiana, passed away unexpectedly, leaving his family and friends in profound grief. The community is rallying to support his funeral expenses through a GoFundMe campaign organized by his cousin, Samantha Bourque.
Samantha Bourque shared her thoughts on Facebook, expressing her devastation over Warren’s passing and requesting donations to help cover the funeral costs. "If anyone would like to donate to my older cousin Warren Smith’s funeral expenses, here is a link to the GoFundMe page. If you can’t donate, sharing is much appreciated," she posted.
The GoFundMe page, titled "Contributions for Warren Smith’s Memorial Service," aims to raise $11,000. So far, $130 has been raised from two donations. Erica Bonin donated $30, and Tess Bailey contributed $100, showing their support for Warren’s family during this difficult time.
"We are absolutely devastated by Warren’s passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the service," Samantha wrote on the fundraiser page. The family has yet to determine the date of the funeral, adding to the uncertainty and stress they are experiencing.
Despite their grief, Samantha and her family are grateful for the community’s support. Every donation and share of the campaign brings them closer to providing a proper memorial for Warren.
