The late Valerie Eloise Schoburgh, a beloved and influential figure in her community, has left behind a grieving family and numerous friends. Her eldest child, Liam Joyce, is spearheading efforts to raise funds for her funeral. Valerie’s sudden death has profoundly impacted her four children: Liam, Tom, Ashleigh, and Amy, who wish to give their mother the best possible send-off.
Liam has organized a fundraiser on GoFundMe, aiming to raise £10,000. As of today, the fundraiser has collected £1,265 from 19 donations. The top donation of £250 came from Richard Williams, while the first donation of £20 was made by Jodie Rooks.
In a heartfelt message on the fundraising page, Liam described his mother as an "incredible, intelligent, strong, passionate woman with a beautiful soul." He emphasized the deep heartache felt by Valerie’s family and the many others whose lives she touched. Valerie’s legacy includes her roles as a mother, mentor, and friend, and she will be remembered for her vibrant and nurturing spirit.
Liam expressed his gratitude for the support received so far, saying, "Thank you all for the kind words and messages. I really appreciate it, just still lost for words." Friends and community members have shown their support, with Sharon Cohen commenting, "Done xx," after making her contribution.
The family hopes to raise enough funds to honor Valerie’s memory and celebrate her life in a fitting manner. Contributions from those who knew her and those who want to support her family during this difficult time are deeply appreciated.
