The late Troy Wheatcraft, a beloved resident of Monroe, Michigan, tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, January 18th. Known for his kind and compassionate nature, Troy was described by friends and family as the life of the party, always smiling and willing to help anyone in need.
Troy’s niece, Amber DeBone, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for his cremation and to cover any remaining bills. As of today, the fundraiser has raised $125 of the $5,000 goal, with contributions from Kirsten Geyer, Eric Gross, and Roger Deister.
Heather Smith, a friend of Troy’s, shared on Facebook, "Anyone who knew Troy knows this was true. He loved everyone, judged no one, and lived life to the fullest. He was the life of the party and my goodness, did he have stories to tell! Please consider helping his family through this devastating loss. Our hearts are broken."
Paul Spurlin, who encountered the accident scene, expressed his sorrow and prayers for Troy’s family and friends. "I too am a Harley bike rider. I happened to pass that accident. It probably just happened before I got to the police barricade."
Kim Prosser also remembered Troy as "Definitely the life of the party always. And always so kind. Prayers for all family and friends."
Scott Hoffman added, "One of a kind and always smiling."
Troy’s passing has left a significant void in the lives of those who knew him. The community is rallying together to support his family during this difficult time, reflecting the impact he had on everyone around him.
