On Saturday, June 1, 2024, the community of Whetstone, Arizona, suffered a heartbreaking loss with the unexpected passing of Tristan Scudder at his home. Tristan, aged 39, was a beloved father, dedicated contracted electrician in Sierra Vista, and a cherished friend to many.
Tristan’s sister, Brianna Scudder, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to support his three children, ages 12, 9, and 3, as well as to cover funeral and memorial expenses. She described this task as the hardest thing she has ever had to do in her life. The goal of the fundraiser is to raise $30,000 to ensure the children are cared for and the memorial services are arranged appropriately.
Rhi Rhi, a friend of Tristan, shared a heartfelt message on Facebook: "Please if everyone can share this and make sure all donations go to the Scudder family only. My condolences and heart goes out to you Tristan, your family, and your kids. You will forever be in my heart. R.I.P."
Tristan was known for his unwavering love for his children, always putting their needs above his own and working tirelessly to provide for them. His legacy of love and dedication lives on in the hearts of his children, mother, stepfather, sister, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
As the community comes together to honor Tristan’s memory, they are also rallying around his family during this difficult time. The contributions to the GoFundMe campaign will help ease the financial burden of memorial expenses and provide ongoing care for his children, who now find themselves in need of support and stability following the loss of their devoted father.
Tristan now rests in heaven, reunited with his father, Joel Scudder, but his memory continues to inspire and touch the lives of those he left behind. The community’s support exemplifies the collective strength and compassion that arise in times of profound loss.
