The late Tristan Adams passed away on May 21, 2024, leaving behind his beloved wife April and three daughters, Alana, Izzy, and Willow. Tristan was known for his kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering generosity. His sudden passing has left his family and friends in deep sorrow.
Tristan’s friend Ian Pratt shared on Facebook, "For those who haven’t heard, our friend and brother Tristan Adams has passed away leaving behind his amazing wife April and three wonderful children Alana, Izzy, and Willow. I’ve known Tristan since Jr. High and had the absolute honor of calling him my friend and even my roommate. Tristan had this unique gift where pretty much anything he said would make me laugh, even if it wasn’t that funny. If I wasn’t in a great place, he’d bring me to one with a ridiculous one-liner or blunt humour. There will NEVER be another Tristan Adams. For anyone who is able: funds are being collected to support his family in Newfoundland to make it to Victoria, BC for the funeral. Please consider donating if you can. Absolutely anything helps, contact me for more information. We love you, Tristan. Thanks for being born."
Other friends also expressed their condolences. Adam R Burns commented, "Well said Ian, he was one of a kind." Holly Nauss shared, "He was a great friend from school, But I’ll miss him so much." Jesse Lavallee added, "Wow, so sorry to hear this we were good friends in elementary. RIP my sincere condolences to your family."
A GoFundMe campaign has been organized by Sheldon Halliman to help cover the unexpected costs associated with Tristan’s passing, including funeral expenses and support for his family’s immediate needs. As of today, $1,000 CAD has been raised out of a $24,000 goal. The family is seeking support to give Tristan the farewell he deserves and to support his family through this difficult time.
Tristan was a proud "girl dad" and a huge fan of Kobe Bryant, always striving to be the best father and husband. The community is invited to contribute to the fundraiser to support Tristan’s family and help them navigate through this heartbreaking loss.
