The late Treven Hatahlie from Farmington, New Mexico, is remembered fondly by his family and friends. Treven’s family is currently facing the heartbreaking task of arranging his funeral, compounded by financial difficulties. Chelsea Peterson has organized a GoFundMe campaign to raise $7,000 for his funeral expenses. As of today, $330 has been raised from three donations.
Treven Hatahlie was a man who cherished working with horses in his younger years, which instilled in him a strong work ethic. He later found fulfillment working as both a coal miner and a welder. His family is deeply mourning his sudden passing, and they express their profound gratitude for the support and love they have received during this difficult time.
In a heartfelt message on the GoFundMe page, Chelsea Peterson writes, "We are starting a GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses for our little brother, Treven Hatahlie. Treven loved raising and working horses during his younger life. Horses helped build his character to become a hard worker. He enjoyed his work as a coal miner and as a welder. He had the best of both worlds. God needed a Coal Miner to shine a light through the darkness and a Welder to help bead the metals of gold in heaven."
Sheila Yenchik, a donor and friend, shared on Facebook, "Anything and everything would be greatly appreciated from donations for funeral expenses to prayers and condolences to help his loving and caring family. My prayers are with my Punkins family for strength and healing through this time of grieving." This sentiment reflects the community’s effort to come together and support the Hatahlie family in their time of need.
The campaign, organized in Farmington, NM, is a testament to the collective effort to ensure Treven receives a proper farewell. Each donation, no matter the size, is a significant gesture of support for his grieving family.
