The late Traske Johnson, 33, from Citrus County, was tragically murdered on May 28th. Traske was a new business owner of ISpyGadgets and Electronics in Inverness. His family and community are now grappling with his untimely death and are seeking support for his final journey.
Traske’s uncle, Deshawn Johnson, organized a GoFundMe campaign to help cover funeral expenses and support the family during this difficult time. The fundraiser, titled "Support for Traske Johnson’s Final Journey," aims to raise $10,000. As of now, the campaign is seeking its first supporters.
"Hello, My Name is Lyndell Johnson and I am fundraising for my Nephew Traske Johnson," Deshawn wrote on the GoFundMe page. "We ask you as his family and friends if you would out of the kindness of your heart to please donate and help us lay Traske to rest. Thank you!"
The community has started to rally around the family. Teri Johnson shared the fundraiser link on Facebook, urging others to contribute. "Above is the GoFundMe link for Traske!! Please share the link. Thank you everyone!!" she posted.
Despite the profound grief and shock, Traske’s family remains hopeful that they can give him a proper farewell with the community’s support. The fundraiser reflects a collective effort to honor Traske’s memory and help his family navigate through this heartbreaking time.
