The late Tony Stevens passed away peacefully on 28th April, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. The family and community are struggling to prepare his funeral and wake, which has led to a fundraising effort organized by his granddaughter, Sophie Craske.
Tony Stevens was more than just a family member; he was the family’s rock, mentor, and greatest supporter. His laughter, wisdom, and unconditional love touched the lives of everyone who knew him. From his stories of the good old days to his warm hugs and wise advice, he made every moment special. Now, his family wants to honor his memory and celebrate his life with a respectful and heartfelt goodbye.
Unfortunately, the costs associated with the funeral and wake are beyond the family’s current means. The expenses include the funeral service, cremation, a wake to bring together all those who loved him, and other related costs. To cover these expenses, Sophie Craske has created a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of £200. As of now, £150 has been raised through three donations from Manuel Clark, Pauline Clark, and Maria Stevens.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards covering the funeral and wake expenses. The support not only helps the family financially but also offers them great comfort during this difficult time, knowing that Tony’s legacy is honored in the best possible way.
