The late Thomas Sigmon was from Conover, North Carolina. His community and family are currently grappling with the pain of his loss and the financial burden of his medical and funeral expenses. Thomas, a beloved tattoo artist known for turning his customers’ dreams into reality, had been struggling with health issues for a while. Despite his challenges, including regular dialysis sessions three to four times a week, he remained dedicated to his work and continued to touch many lives.
Erin Low, a classmate of Thomas, has initiated a GoFundMe campaign to help his family during this difficult time. Erin remembers Thomas as a person who always found joy in drawing, a passion that led him to a career in tattoo artistry. She recalls how Thomas created a beautiful tattoo in memory of her mother, showcasing his talent and compassion.
The fundraiser aims to raise $3,000 to help cover Thomas’s medical and funeral costs. As of now, $200 has been donated by Erin herself. She urges those whose lives were touched by Thomas to contribute to the fund, either through the GoFundMe page or directly to the funeral home, whose information she can provide upon request.
Thomas’s untimely death at the age of 48 has left a void in the hearts of many. Erin’s fundraiser is a testament to the love and respect the community has for Thomas, as they come together to support his family in their time of need.
