Theodore "Theo" Joseph Fabbri was born on May 28th at 10:05 pm at Tamarack Health in Ashland, Wisconsin. Shortly after his healthy and successful birth, Theo experienced complications with breathing and was transferred to the NICU in Duluth, Minnesota. Despite valiant efforts to save him, Theo passed away peacefully in his parents’ arms on May 31st at 12:47 pm. Initial medical results indicated severe damage to his liver, kidneys, brain, and heart due to prolonged low oxygen levels immediately after birth. Further medical testing and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of these complications.
Theo leaves behind his loving parents, Dominic and Bridgette Fabbri of Bessemer, and his two big sisters, Ahlia Whitburn and Elouise Fabbri. His grandparents, Dean and Kelly Fabbri of Bessemer and Dan and Melissa Whitburn of Marenisco, along with numerous aunts, uncles, friends, and extended family members, mourn his loss and remember him fondly.
Funeral arrangements have been made by Jerald Rocco of Lakeside Memorial Chapel in Wakefield, Michigan. Theodore’s Mass of the Angels will be held on Friday, June 7th, at 11 a.m. at St. Sebastian Church in Bessemer, Michigan. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and is open to the public for thoughts and prayers for Theo and his family.
