The late Teresa Dambroviene sadly passed away on May 26, 2024. Her sudden departure has left a void in the hearts of her family and friends. Teresa’s daughter, Inga Gubanoviene, is faced with the challenge of honoring her mother’s final wish to be laid to rest in her homeland, Lithuania.
Inga has very limited resources to cover the costs of transporting her beloved mother to Lithuania. To fulfill Teresa’s final wish, Inga has started a fundraiser to collect donations for the funeral service and to support her mother’s final journey back home. The goal is to raise £7,000.
Inga shared her grief and the details of the fundraiser on Facebook, expressing the immense loss and the financial difficulties they are facing. She wrote, "Teresa’s sudden departure has left a void in our hearts that can never be filled. As we navigate through this devastating loss, we are faced with the challenge of honouring Teresa’s final wishes to be laid to rest in her homeland, Lithuania."
The community has responded with heartfelt condolences and support. Bronislava Vežienė questioned the news, asking, "Inga, tai tiesa ar čia melas," which translates to "Inga, is this true or a lie?" Genovaitė Šabanova expressed her sympathy, "Nuoširdžiai užjaučiu, mirus brangiai mamai," meaning "Sincere condolences on the death of your dear mother." Other friends like Neacsu Carmen and Ludmila Groznova also shared their condolences, saying, "I feel very sorry for your mum!!!" and "Соболезную!" respectively.
Inga’s post has received numerous comments of support and condolence, reflecting the deep impact Teresa had on those around her. Vitold Helena Ginevic, Анна Анна, Klavdija Garbare, and many others expressed their sorrow and support, using phrases like "Мои соболезнования" (My condolences) and "Uzuojauta" (Condolences).
Inga’s plea for help is clear as she continues to seek support for fulfilling her mother’s final wish. Contributions to the fundraiser will help ensure that Teresa can be laid to rest in her homeland, providing her the peaceful rest she deserves.
