The late Tammy Louise Roberts from Grasonville, Maryland, passed away on June 8, 2024. Her family and community are now struggling to prepare for her final arrangements and expenses. Tammy’s brother, Justin Davis, has initiated a GoFundMe campaign to support her funeral costs, raising $20 of the $5,000 target so far.
Justin Davis shared on Facebook, "There is a lot to get done in a short period of time. We are having a time trying to get everything together to get Tammy home for a service so please be patient. I will make sure everyone knows the arrangements as soon as they are finalized. A GoFundMe is being made at this time and will be shared to assist with final expenses."
Tammy Louise Roberts was born on November 23, 1963, to Allen Benjamin Davis Sr. and Carolyn Ann Willey Davis. She leaves behind a loving family, including her husband, Timothy Joseph Roberts Sr., her children, Michael Wayne Roe and Tiffany Nichole Roe Marshall, and her stepson, Timothy Joseph (TJ) Roberts Jr. She is also survived by her siblings, Justin Lee Davis, Allen Benjamin Davis Jr., Nancy Dawn Bedford, and Kristi Sue Davis. Tammy was predeceased by her daughter, Stephanie Michelle Roe, and her mother, Carolyn Ann Davis.
Known for her candid, caring nature and generosity, Tammy was deeply involved in her community, dedicating her time to the Grasonville Volunteer Fire Department and the Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company. She was an avid fan of the Orioles and NASCAR drivers Dale Earnhardt and Rusty Wallace. In her youth, Tammy enjoyed playing softball, bowling, and organizing family cookouts.
Tammy’s passion extended to several causes, including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, DC Children’s Hospital, and Girl Scouts of America. Her spirit of volunteerism and commitment to helping others was a testament to her generous heart.
Justin Davis, organizing the fundraiser for his sister’s final expenses, reflects the family’s dedication to honoring Tammy’s life and legacy. The community’s support during this challenging time highlights the impact Tammy had on those around her, embodying her belief that kindness goes a long way.
