The late Stephannie Pate and her sister Nicholle Pate were beloved members of the Pate family in Cranebrook, New South Wales. Their tragic losses have left an indelible mark on their community and family. Stephannie passed away in 2019 after a short but tough battle with a rare and aggressive cancer, a devastating blow to her parents, Steve and Karen, and her siblings, Nicholle and Adrienne.
In June of this year, the family faced another unimaginable tragedy when Nicholle passed away suddenly. Nicholle’s untimely death has left her parents and sister grieving once again, alongside her partner Justin and their six-year-old son Tanner. The family is now not only coping with their profound loss but also supporting Tanner through his upcoming medical procedures and schooling as he navigates life without his mother.
Carmen Abbott, a family friend, has organized a fundraiser on behalf of Karen Pate to support the family’s financial needs during this difficult time. The goal is to raise $5,000, with $795 already contributed by ten donors. The community has rallied around the Pate family, offering donations and emotional support. Notable contributions include $125 from Joanne Buchanan, the top donation, and $100 from Christie Graham, the most recent donation.
Despite the overwhelming grief and loss, the fundraiser aims to provide some relief and support to the Pate family, ensuring that Tanner’s future is secured as he grows up without his mother. Any contributions are deeply appreciated as they help the family cope with their sorrow and continue their journey through this heartbreaking time.
